Fall Fest

Fall Fest 2020 had undergone a new set of parameters, as well as faced the cancellation of events due to COVID-19.

However, a few events and activities do remain!

This year's events include Trick-or-Treat (for all ages), pumpkin decorating contest, and a business/residential Fall decorating contest

Each year, businesses open their doors to welcome young trick-or-treaters during business hours. On October 30, from 2-4:30 p.m., trick-or-treaters of all ages are welcome to collect goodies from participating businesses.

This year, the treats will be handed to trick-or-treaters instead of them being able to select their own goodies. Business owners have been asked to distribute treats from an upon entryway, or outdoors (weather permitting). Please look for a sign in the windows of businesses to confirm they are participating.

A digital map of all participating businesses will be posted here, and on Facebook, the week of the event.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Pumpkin decorating can be completed at your individual home, and the entry can be brought to Uniquely Washington on Oct. 24 between 5-6 p.m. Entries will be on display at Uniquely Washington, and online voting will be conducted on the Ritzville Chamber's Facebook page. Entries can be picked up on Oct. 30 between 2-4:30 p.m. Any entry not collected during that time will be properly disposed of.

Business/Residential Decorating Contest

While driving or walking around town, make sure to keep your eyes peeled for creative or classic Fall and Halloween decor! When you find a house or business with decorations that made you stop or do a double-take, email us at ritzchamber@gmail,com or message us on Facebook to nominate the home or business. The Chamber board will judge all entries and award prizes to the top 3 for both businesses and homes.
