Fall Fest
This year's Fall Fest events include Trick-or-Treat (for all ages), Halloween Hunt, and a business/residential Scarecrow Contest.
Trick-or-Treat

Each year, businesses open their doors to welcome young trick-or-treaters during business hours. On October 31, from 2-4:30 p.m., trick-or-treaters of all ages are welcome to collect goodies from participating businesses.

This year, Main Avenue between Adams and Division streets will be closed to traffic. This will improve safety of participants in the downtown district, as well as provide us with an opportunity to expand the event to include a Trunk-or-Treat component as well.

A digital map of all participating businesses will be posted here, and on Facebook, the week of the event.
Business/Residential Scarecrow Contest
Fall Fest will also mark the return of the Scarecrow Contest! We are opening the competition to residences this year as well, and we will have voting for both business and residential entries.
Scarecrow Contest entries are due by October 23. Voting will occur online on the Ritzville Chamber's Facebook page from October 28 - November 5. Entries can be submitted to ritzchamber@gmail.com.
Halloween Hunt/Boo the Bovine
A family-friendly return to our Fall Fest activities will be a Boo the Bovine Halloween Hunt. This Halloween-themed scavenger hunt will be throughout town in local businesses. Businesses will take turns hosting and decorating Boo the Bovine and displaying her in their business. Halloween Hunters will need to take a selfie with Boo, and post it to the Ritzville Chamber Facebook page, or email the photo to ritzchamber@gmail.com to be shared on social media. The business who dresses Boo the best will win a prize, as well as the hunter(s) who find her the most! The Halloween Hunt will run from September 30-October 31.
