Seasonal Office Position - Tourism & Administration
Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce
$18 an hour, 500 hours (1099 Contract Position)
Job Summary:
This seasonal position provides essential administrative and customer service support to the Ritzville Chamber of Commerce during peak periods, including event planning and general office operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate must have availability to work occasional nights and weekends.
Role Responsibilities:

Answering phones, emails, and in-person inquiries.

Processing mail and other correspondence.

Maintaining accurate records and databases.
-
Ordering and managing office supplies.
-
Organization and inventory.
-
Providing friendly and efficient customer service.
-
Handling inquiries about chamber programs, events, and services.

Assisting with the planning and execution of chamber events.

Distributing promotional materials for events.
-
Setting up and maintaining event venues.
-
Providing on-site support during events.
-
Performing other duties as assigned by the Tourism and Promotion Director.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Google Workspace.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong customer service skills.
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50lbs.

Ability to operate standard office equipment.
